H.E. the Ambassador of Malaysia, Dato Sri Jamaludin Jarjis and lovely wife, Dr. Kalsom Ismail, and WIPAC welcome all to the annual dinner-dance Gala featuring a cultural presentation of Malaysia and a piano concert by WIPAC Winner, Viscount Thurston of Baltimore.
To add excitement, Live and Silent Auction includes Ambassadors' great collection of wines from their private stock. Visit www.wipac.org for complete auction list, and place bids. Website Bidding Deadline is November 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. Live and Silent Auction winners will be announced at Gala auction closing time of 9:45 p.m. Major CC accepted. Proceeds benefit the April 2011 Winners Grand Prix Concert (4 winners of 4 international piano competitions in a piano concert in Washington, DC); and the 2011 Washington International Piano Artists Competition, hosted in cooperation with The GWU Music Dept. and the Embassies of Mexico, Poland and France.
WIPAC is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, all-volunteer and grassroots organization whose mission is to promote international friendship and understanding among nations, and relies on the generosity of its members who believe that music enhances and enriches our lives.
